Zachary Mark – Street Performances, Friday & Saturday from 11.00am
From singing covers at school to producing and rapping original songs, Zachary Mark has been performing since he was old enough to hold a mic. He is a young artist hailing from the Gold Coast, with his career fuelled by his thriving passion for all music. His style features state-of-the-art electronic music technology.
Finnigan August – Street Performances, Friday from 11.00am
You won’t believe sensational young surf coast up-and-comer Finnigan August picked up the guitar only two years ago. A trained flamenco & classical guitarist, he has a melting pot of styles, from advanced rhythmic finger style picking, guitar tapping, and stomp box drumming.
Pisca – Mask Making Workshops Saturday & Sunday from 10.00am
Children are invited to meet PISCA at Lorne Central each morning then join him for a mask-making workshop to wear during PISCA’s 11.00am show. Free with a ticket purchase to the show. The workshop will run for 30 minutes.
Creatures of the Deep – Drama Workshop, Friday & Saturday at 7.00pm
After their show in the Cumberland Resort Angahook Room, cast members will hold a drama workshop full of fun games and activities where kids can also get a close up look at all the show props and costumes. Free with a ticket purchase to the show. The workshop will run for 30 minutes.
Southern Ocean Sea Band – Community Sea Shanty Sing, Saturday at 3.30pm
Join the band for a vocal workshop to sing along while learning their particular brand of sea shanties. At 3:30pm for 30 minutes , Lorne Hotel View Room. No need to book, just arrive in full voice.
FOPA Open Mic – Sunday 2.30pm
The FOPA festival’s open mic afternoon in the Lorne Hotel Beer Garden is where you can strut your talents or sit back with lunch and a drink to enjoy the talent or terror of the brave souls stepping up to the microphone. Who knows? You could see a future FOPA headline performance and say you saw it first, here.
After FOPArty – Sunday 4.30pm
This year we are teaming up again with the folk from Monday Night Music (this time on a Sunday) to bring you the 2nd Annual After FOPArty! A showcase of local bands, solo artists and DJs, plus great food and community heart. All welcome! Star studded line up TBA.
