While the full program will be revealed next week, selected shows for Lorne’s Festival of Performing Arts (‘FOPA’) are now on sale.

Our FOPA Friends have been snapping up tickets over the past few days – if you’d like to join them to obtain discounts and early bird tickets, head here.

Opening Gala – Cumberland Lorne, 7pm Thursday 3 Oct (doors from 6pm with piano entertainment)

Lorne’s night of nights has moved to the Thursday night so we can add an additional full day of exciting shows. Experience highlights of shows from across the festival in one extravaganza of music, cabaret and comedy, hosted by multi award-winning comedian, actor & writer Damian Callinan.

Piano Bar – Lorne Central, 9pm each night

We’ve scoured all sorts of dens and dives to book the hottest piano bar entertainment for FOPA. For the Thursday night we’re thrilled to have secured Joss Russell, an integral part of the Geelong success story Piano Bar Geelong. On the Friday and Saturday, we’re also thrilled to introduce you to Jam the Piano-Man in his first appearances back in Australia after entertaining audiences around the world for the past 7 years.

Family Gala – Cumberland Lorne, 4:30pm Friday 4 Oct

Featuring a tasting plate of performances suitable for children … that adults will love!

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience – The Peak at Lorne Country Club, 7pm Friday 4 Oct

If you loved the TV series, you’ll absolutely have a ball at this show. We’ve packed a lot into the night, including a 3-course meal and two full hours of laughter. Plus, as we’re at one of the most beautiful vantage points in Lorne, we’re opening doors from 6pm so you can enjoy the sunset at 6:30pm along with pre-show piano entertainment.

Creatures Of The Deep – Cumberland Lorne, 6pm Friday 4 and Saturday 5 October

We discovered this show at last year’s Melbourne Fringe Festival where it won Best Cabaret. It’s a highly accessible show for both adults and kids about marine ecology.
